Just Relax is a blog describing the trials and tribulations of the roller coaster we call infertility, based on just one woman's journey. Everything from squinting at pee sticks, learning the new languages of TTC acronyms, tears of heartache, juggling work, draining your bank account, losing friends, and pushing your marriage to new limits.

Why Just Relax?
I'm betting if you are here reading this you are likely dealing with infertility and get the laughable name, Just Relax. For those of you who don't, let me explain. If we had a dollar for every time someone said "if you just relax you will probably get pregnant" or "my college roommate's sister tried for years and soon as she stopped trying and relaxed, boom a baby fell right out of her on the floor at Nordstrom". NEVER tell a woman who is dealing with infertility to relax.. except me, I can say it.

Rose lives in NYC with her tall drink of water (Aaron). Throughout their struggles with infertility she has found it extremely important to spread awareness and open the conversation for other couples fighting the same battle. Sharing provides others the opportunity to not feel alone, as well as providing those who are not struggling with a glimpse into the hell that is infertility. Understanding can result in empathy which often breeds support.
In their four years of trying to conceive they have endured 1 IUI, 3 egg retrievals, transferred 9 embryos, and has had 1 miscarriage. At 39 she is ready to keep going, but is quickly realizing there may be limits to what she can endure.
